From Edmonton via 98/101 Avenue...

  1. 101 Avenue turns into the Baseline Road.

  2. Keep traveling east on Baseline Road past the first major traffic intersection (Baseline Road and Broadmoor Boulevard).

  3. Turn right at the intersection of Baseline Road and Sherwood Drive (the second major intersection).

  4. Travel south on Sherwood Drive– start to pay attention as the road begins to curve to the right.

  5. Drive past the Community Centre and County Hall on your right.

  6. Turn right immediately past County Hall onto Festival Way.

  7. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


From Edmonton via the Whitemud Freeway...

  1. The Whitemud Freeway turns into Township Road 522 once you go over the Highway 14 overpass.

  2. Travel east on Township Road 522 until you get to Range Road 232.

  3. Turn left onto Range Road 232 and travel north, past Salisbury Greenhouse, to your right.

  4. Range Road 232 turns into Brentwood Boulevard at the intersection with Wye Road – keep traveling north along Brentwood until you get to the intersection with Sherwood Drive.

  5. At the intersection of Brentwood Boulevard and Sherwood Drive you will see an Esso service station to your right, the Strathcona County building in front of you, and Salisbury Composite High School to your left.

  6. Proceed across the intersection onto Festival Way.

  7. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


From Edmonton via the Sherwood Park Freeway...

  1. Whyte Avenue turns into the Sherwood Park Freeway, which turns into Wye Road once you go over the Freeway/Highway 16 overpass.

  2. Keep traveling east on Wye Road. You will pass a Safeway, a Petro-Can, an Esso (left) and a Shell (right) - you will then travel past a residential area (left).

  3. At the intersection of Wye Road and Brentwood Boulevard, turn left onto Brentwood Boulevard.

  4. Travel north on Brentwood Boulevard until you get to the intersection with Sherwood Drive.

  5. At the intersection of Brentwood Boulevard and Sherwood Drive you will see an Esso service station to your right, the Strathcona County building in front of you, and Salisbury Composite High School to your left.

  6. Proceed across the intersection onto Festival Way.

  7. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


From the Yellowhead Highway (16 East)...

  1. Exit from Highway 16 at Range Road 232 (Sherwood Drive).

  2. Travel south on Sherwood Drive – start to pay attention as the road begins to curve to the right.

  3. Drive past the Community Centre and County Hall on your right.

  4. Turn right immediately past County Hall onto Festival Way.

  5. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


Traveling south on Highway 21

  1. At the intersection of Highway 21 and Baseline Road, turn right at the traffic lights onto Baseline Road.

  2. Travel west on Baseline Road through two sets of lights (past Clover Bar Road and Brower Drive/Glenbrook Boulevard).

  3. Turn left at the third set of traffic lights, onto Sherwood Drive.

  4. Travel south on Sherwood Drive – start to pay attention as the road begins to curve to the right.

  5. Drive past the Community Centre and County Hall on your right.

  6. Turn right immediately past County H all onto Festival Way.

  7. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


Traveling north on Highway 21

  1. At the intersection of Wye Road and Highway 21, turn left at the traffic lights onto Wye Road.

  2. Travel west on Wye Road past the intersection with Clover Bar Ranch Road (the Strathcona Christian Academy is on the northeast corner).

  3. At the intersection of Wye Road and Brentwood Boulevard, turn right onto Brentwood Boulevard.

  4. Travel north on Brentwood Boulevard until you get to the intersection with Sherwood Drive.

  5. At the intersection of Brentwood Boulevard and Sherwood Drive you will see an Esso service station to your right, the Strathcona County building in front of you, and Salisbury Composite High School to your left.

  6. Proceed across the intersection onto Festival Way.

  7. Ahead and to your right is the entrance to the Community Centre and Library Parkade.


Parking

There is very limited street parking around the Library, but plenty of heated underground parking in the parkade attached to the Community Centre in which the Library is located. The first two hours in the parkade are free: you must register your vehicle with the pay-by-plate system
in order to obtain them.

7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday
First two hours – no charge.
Additional time – $2 per hour
(Parking Level P1 only during these times)

After 5 p.m. on weekdays, and all day weekends and holidays
First two hours – no charge
Any additional time – $2 flat fee
(Parking Level P1 and P2)

Parkade hours of operation

Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
